where cathedral trees
from union pier
rebuilt chicago
after the fire until
not a stand held bow,
condos raised on bluffs
steeple down
to shore,
round stones
skip over
white green waves
gulls cree,
tracks circle
half eaten fish
cold ears,
wet shoes
in the whistle wind
